Café Society is a photographic series which celebrates the spaces at the heart of Belgian beer culture. See more here.
Kastar is a new café which exists through the old. The décor has been created from reclaimed wood, locally sourced. The glass throughout has been salvaged in the area and recycled. The grand marble bar is a repurposing of old Belgian fireplaces. The lights have been refurbished, wired in by an electrician located down the street. Waste isn’t waste until we waste it.
